State-of-the-art conference facilities at Best Western Plus Oslo Airport
In recent years, Best Western Plus Oslo Airport has carried out a significant upgrade of its conference facilities to meet the increasing demands of today's conference guests. The goal has been to create modern, flexible and future-oriented meeting and conference rooms that provide good experiences for both organizers and participants.
We offer conference rooms with capacities from 2 to 220 people. Several of the rooms have been upgraded with new audiovisual solutions that ensure good image surfaces and a clear and balanced sound image. This means that everyone in the room has a clear view of the presentations and a clear and pleasant sound reproduction, regardless of where they are sitting in the room. The rooms can also be adapted to different events and needs, whether they are used separately or opened up for larger conferences.
Modern equipment in meeting rooms and conference halls
The meeting rooms are equipped with video conferencing solutions and good screen surfaces that make it easy to conduct both physical and digital meetings. The solutions are designed for easy use so that guests can quickly connect and start meetings or presentations. In the conference rooms, large LED walls have been installed that provide clear and sharp image surfaces, well suited to presentations, video and larger events.
The rooms are also equipped with professional sound systems with wireless microphones, adapted to the size and use of each room. To ensure good accessibility for all conference participants, the rooms are also equipped with induction loops. The largest conference hall is also equipped with a professional PA system from Adamson. The system provides a powerful yet very clear sound and is dimensioned to handle even the most demanding events. This enables artists or speakers to use the stage actively and move freely during performances or presentations, without the need for additional sound equipment.
All of the halls are equipped with modern audiovisual solutions controlled through Q-SYS, a flexible and user-friendly system that makes it easy to manage sound, images and presentations.
Collaboration with Assist Innlandet
The upgrades were carried out in collaboration with Assist Innlandet AS. Assist is a total supplier of audiovisual solutions with branches all over Norway and delivers complete solutions in sound, image and control systems for meeting rooms, conference halls and event installations.
Sustainable technology choices
Both Assist and we at Best Western Plus Oslo Airport have a clear focus on sustainable solutions. Technology with a long lifespan and low energy consumption is therefore an important part of the solutions that are installed. The latest LED wall, installed in February, utilizes COB (Chip on Board) technology, which represents the latest in LED display technology. This technology has lower energy consumption and a longer lifespan than traditional solutions, which fits in well with the hotel's environmental profile with, among other things, energy wells and solar panels on the roof.
Through these investments, Best Western Plus Oslo Airport strengthens its position as an attractive conference hotel for small and medium-sized conferences, where modern technology, flexibility and good user experiences are at the center.
